Jayson McMurren 

Jayson McMurren is BASIS' native Coloradoan. Born in Greeley CO and raised on the Western Slope in Gunnison he first became interested in Architecture while working for a building company through his summers. Jayson realized rather than being told what to build he'd prefer to design buildings himself. Jayson attended CU-Boulder where he received his Bachelor of Environmental Design in 2007. He took advantage of the opportunities available at CU including mission trips to Belize, Thailand, and New Orleans as well as taking a summer course in Rome. BASIS found him in 2007 and he's been happily employed since. When he's not at work, Jayson can be found fishing and hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, riding one of his bikes, walking the links or skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
