This fifty-unit senior independent housing building in Payson, Arizona, was designed as a stand-alone facility for the Good Samaritan Society. Payson, a mountain community 90 miles northeast of Phoenix, was lacking in a mid to high-end senior residence. The project was designed to blend in with the environment while offering views of the surrounding forest land for its residents. A landscaped courtyard is provided, protected from the often harsh elements of the local climate.
