Fall River Village is a full ownership vacation community planned for the West end of downtown Estes Park, along a river greenspace. BASIS developed a series of prototype buildings to work within a master plan. The buildings are designed as mountain lodges, making a group of relatively small units appear as one larger structure while retaining the individuality of each unit. Materials and features are typical for the mountain setting: cedar siding, stone, large decks, vaulted ceilings.
A virtual reality walk-through helped secure approvals for the master plan. Construction began in 2005 and is expected to be completed in 2007.
