The building's purpose is to serve both the staff housing needs during the busy summer months and provide space for retreats and conferences during the remainder of the year.
One of the larger buildings in the camp, the structure is designed to fit its heavily wooded environment, breaking down the scale with shifts in plan, varied roof lines and a wood and stone exterior. The building is nestled into the hillside, with views through openings in the trees to a number of small ponds nearby. Directly off the living room is a wide covered porch, perfect for rocking chairs.
